Our servicing is fixed price, as that makes it nice and simple for us and you
Here are some common prices:
Type 2/Type 25 'Holiday Service' - the BIG one!
A comprehensive service where everything gets checked and replaced if neccessary, new spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, genuine VW Quantum oil (Morris' mono-grade alternative if requested www.morrislubricants.co.uk ), gearbox oil change with STP additive for improved shifting in older boxes, cleaned oil strainer if applicable, top up all fluids not being replaced, etc. You get the idea, it's a biggy! If the van needs anything else replacing as part of the service, there are no extra labour charges for fitting.
We don't do anything that will cost you money without your authority.

Golf 'Oil Service'
The standard water cooled annual service - consumables replaced as above, rubber parts checked, underbody corrosion protection checked, etc.

Add a new cambelt to the above from £99 - the price is also valid if you want a cambelt on its own (prices vary on year/engine)

Type 25 fuel tank replacement - £199
Including a set of flexible breather pipes, a new tank which has the spot welded seams sealed with proper automotive seam sealent and the tank painted above and below with good quality oil based chassis paint.
The paint which new tanks come with now is not of sufficient quality to protect the metal, especially on top where mud can sit and rust develops.

Beetle/Type 2 engines removed and refitted from £80
Need an engine swap? Or just wanting to know how much it'll cost to have something done on your bug or van that involves taking out the engine? If your car or van has a stock fixed rear valance that's how much.

Fault Code read, with printout from £30
Save money - less than half the dealer cost for a quicker service. A full fault code read, erase and re-read with printout from only £30. Included in all services above as appropriate.
